Joslyn was born and raised in Hong Kong. Joslyn is an aspiring artist who is ardent and passionate about art. She loves the surprises that art holds through different forms, and how it acts as a way to communicate emotions and messages both explicitly and implicitly to an audience. Art has always been a big part of her life, but her art career only started branching off in these recent years studying in states. The things Joslyn sees and experience on a simple day to day basis inspires her to create art. Being able to capture life from her perspective, while incorporating elements of imagination and abstraction, enables Joslyn to express her appreciation for the small moments in life. Often times, people overlook the beauty of life and are too focused on being successful while having unnecessary worries. Joslyn wants her art to be an inspiration and a reminder that life is short, and we should learn to be grateful for our surroundings and what we have.
